CACPM073e Error Details
This error can occur due to many reasons, such as:
- Communication issue between CPM and the target server
- Target server is offline
- Target server does not have required ports opened
CACPM073e Error Example
Following error is shown in the account details page. By default, CPM shows timeout (30) if it cannot get a response from the target server within 30 seconds.
Password was scheduled for immediate task, Failure. Failure Description: CACPM073E Change password process terminated. Timeout (30) elapsed (Safe: Test-Safe, Folder: Root, Object: Operating System-WinServerLocal-192.168.1.104-test).
CACPM073e Solution
If the CPM is able to manage other similar systems without an issue and the problem is occurring for a specific server or a small number of servers, then start by checking and ensuring the target system has the required ports opened.
For example, if it is a Windows target server, CPM requires communication to be opened on ports 139 & 445 to perform password management tasks.
