I was trying to install Docker on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS (Bionic) by following the install instructions on Docker, but for some reason or another it did not work.

To my surprise, the install is actually very simple.

I will list first share the output I received when installing Docker following the official manual and then I will share how I came across a simpler method.
